On Thursday 16th February, WEGA took part in the Rocky Road Show, an exhibition designed to promote geology and related subjects to the public - actually as it is held during half term, most of the visitors are school kids and accompanying parents. The show took place in Bristol City Museum.

WEGA's exhibit consisted of a display of thin sections presided over by John Toller, Joyce Ali and Gloria Castle, And Elizabeth and Roy McIntyre with Elizabeth's display of three dimensional geological maps.

We had a steady flow of people throughout the day and an encouraging crowd around our stand. A good time was had by all! Here are some photos showing  Elizabeth's maps, so that they can be appreciated by a wider public.

If you click on the photo, this takes you to a larger version of the photo. Above this photo appears various options. If you click the "All Sizes" one you can get various sizes - the large one is very large! You can download these for printing or whatever.
