To provide a link between the amateur, the student, the teacher and the professional geologist.
To foster interest in geological sites within the area with a view to their study and wise conservation.

AGM and Book Sale

 
   
The Annual General meeting is the opportunity for our members to express their views about the group and to change the scoundrels who run it!

The Office Holders report on their activities and answer questions. Then elections for next year are made.

 

Following from last years successful innovation we are holding another book sale. Bring along books, hopefully of a geological nature (but we wont be too picky!) and try to sell them. And take home the ones you cant get rid of!

 

There may also be a short lecture to enliven the proceedings. More details nearer the event.
